Snap what you eat.
A coach that knows your body handles the rest.
Tare turns a photo of your plate into calories and protein, answers anything you ask about food and your body, and tells you what to eat next. For iPhone.

Ask it anything, anytime.
The coach is one tap away, all day. Ask about a meal, a day, a chart, a craving or a plan, and get a straight answer from your own numbers: every meal, weigh-in and target, not a generic rule.
It runs on Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic's latest and most capable model, and it's built to be brief, kind and useful on a phone.
- Why did the scale jump this morning?
- Was that lunch as bad as I think?
- I'm going out for pizza tonight. How do I fit it in?
- What's an easy 40 g of protein at 3 pm?
- Why am I always starving after dinner?
A day with it
-
One answer: what now?
Open it and the top of the screen tells you where the day stands. “About 2,100 kcal and 180 g protein today. It's a training day.”
-
Snap lunch, and it's logged
Every item estimated from the photo, in a second. Put it on a kitchen scale and the weight is the portion. Fix anything with a tap or a sentence.
-
Standing at a menu? Ask.
Snap it and you get the two best options for the rest of your day, with what's left after each. Tap “I'll have this” and it's logged.
-
Hungry, no plan
Snap the fridge. “Eggs, spinach and last night's rice make a 3-egg fried rice that closes your protein gap in ten minutes.”
-
Your trend, not the noise
Weight smoothed past the water swings, waist and strength beside it, and targets that adjust to what actually happened, not what a formula guessed.
It never feels like a diet.
Logging takes a second
A photo, a phrase, or “the usual”. Estimates don't have to be perfect, because your targets adapt to your real results.
It steers before you eat
No meal plans. The easiest swaps, suggested at the moment you're choosing, where they actually change something.
You get better at this
It explains things when they matter, with your own numbers, so your eye for food sharpens and you need it less.
No shame, ever
No red numbers, no streaks to break. A day over target is information, not failure.
1,240 kcal to go. The whole app leans on one number: what's left for today. Everything else is a scroll away when you want it, and out of the way when you don't.
If your body isn't where you want it, nothing about you is broken. Your relationship with food has gone a little wrong, or your intuition for it has drifted. Both can be rewired.
Intuition gets rewired the way any skill does: with feedback close to the moment, from someone who sees what you actually do. Not a meal plan handed over once, but a word before dinner, a straight answer about what that lunch really was, a better pick on the menu in front of you. That kind of close, patient advice used to mean a personal coach.
Tare's coach is kind about it. It never judges what you ate or how the day went; it looks at what happened and helps with what's next. It explains things when they matter, with your own numbers, and now and then asks you to guess before it tells you, so your eye for food gets sharper week by week.
Our only goal is to get you to stop using this app.
As your intuition takes over, you'll log less, because you won't need to. Tare leans on weigh-ins and the occasional check, and speaks up only if the trend drifts. One day you'll notice you haven't opened it in weeks. That's the point.

To tare a scale is to zero it, so it weighs only what's new. Tare is in a small beta on iPhone; ask for an invite and we'll send one through TestFlight.
